Who Qualifies for Hospice?

• Anyone with a life-limiting disease and prognosis of 6 months or less, or anyone who wants to focus on quality of life and symptom management versus curative treatment.

Who Pays for Hospice?

• Hospice care is most often paid for by Medicare. It may also be paid for by Medicaid, Health Insurance HMO's, and private payers.
